There is only one you, and your singular purpose is to be yourself in the world. Yet family, work, and social pressures often shape who we become, and in the process, we can easily forget who we are. Therapy, for me, is about creating a space of allowance — a place to be as you are, to discover who you are becoming, and to be witnessed and accepted in that journey. I hold hope that, with support and imagination, we can return to ourselves with greater freedom, love, and resilience.
I am completing my M.A. in Counseling Psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute. As both an audio and visual artist, it has been natural to receive training through a Jungian lens that emphasizes imagination and symbolic exploration. Sometimes we don't have the words, but creative expression can unexpectedly open doors to healing and self-acceptance.
My experience includes arts-based therapy, play therapy, sand tray, brainspotting, and imaginal work. I have worked with children through school arts programming and with children on the autism spectrum as an ABA specialist. Serving as a program manager for a Berkeley mental health wellness center taught me that even in the most painful circumstances, there is enormous relief in togetherness. These experiences continue to shape my approach to therapy as creative, relational, and inclusive. I am excited to partner with you and your family in cultivating the inner resources needed to meet life’s challenges with courage, imagination, and tenderness.
