Appointments

We understand there is high demand for mental health services. At this time, we have limited openings for new patients who need therapy or after school appointment times. We do have openings for assessments and medication evaluations, and plan to start hiring more clinicians in early 2025.
Please feel free to complete an Appointment Request Form and we will let you know if there is availability. Thank you!

What

to

expect

  • The first step to becoming a patient of our clinic is completing the appointment request form. The information you provide on this brief form can help us determine if our clinic is the right fit for your needs. Possible reasons we might not be the right provider for you include:

-age (we primarily provide services for children, young adults, parents, and families)

    -cost/insurance

-specific diagnosis or severity of symptoms

-type of treatment you are looking for

If we do not feel we are the best provider to meet your needs, we will reach out to let you know this and why. If we are able, we will provide referrals for more appropriate treatment.

  • If we do think we can provide the services you need, we will send you a link to register as a patient of our clinic. This step includes providing any insurance information so we can confirm if we are in-network with your insurance and check your insurance benefits. We also require that patients contact their insurance directly to check their in-network benefits and get the information you need about if and how much your insurance provider will cover for your treatment with us. You can find more information about the cost of treatment here.

  • Once you have registered as a patient, we will reach out to schedule an initial assessment visit. Prior to the first visit, we require that you read and acknowledge understanding of our office policies. If you have questions about anything, we are happy to have a brief phone conversation to provide clarification.

  • You do not need to prepare for the initial appointment. If you would like to bring previous records, including current medications and doses, prior mental health evaluation reports, neuropsychological testing results, or relevant labwork you are welcome to. You can also sign a release of information for your primary care provider, mental health providers (current or past), your child's school, or any other entities you would like us to connect with related to your care.

Otherwise, please simply show up as you are. We aim to create a space where you feel safe to be yourself. The initial visit is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us. An assessment is not a commitment on either your part or ours to engage in ongoing treatment. At the end of the assessment period (which can range from 2-4 sessions) we will share our understanding of why you are seeking treatment and offer recommendations for ongoing care. At that time, you will have the opportunity to ask any additional questions and make the choice that feels right for you.
